II (XVI) International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scholars “Current issues of linguistics and literature studies”
Dear colleagues, Philological faculty of the National Research Tomsk State University, April 9-11, 2015 holds the Annual II (XVI) International scientific-practical conference among young researchers “Current issues of linguistics and literature studies”.
We welcome students, undergraduates, graduate students, young researchers under the age of 35 years to participate in the conference.
Prospective areas of the conference are the following:
1) Linguistics:
· Comparative-historical linguistics and classical philology;
· Applied, experimental, computer linguistics;
· Theory and history of the Russian language;
· Topical questions of communicative linguistics;
· Comparative lexicology and Intercultural Communication;
· Folk culture in language and text;
· Contemporary issues of cognitive linguistics;
2) Literature Studies:
• Classical Russian literature;
• Contemporary Russian Literature;
• Russian-European literary connections and literary translation;
• Publishing and Editing;
• Slavic culture and literature studies;
3) Section for schoolchildren:
• Language studies at school;
• Literature and cultural studies at school.
Time limit for presentation: 7-10 minutes.
Conference languages: Russian, English.
Forms of participation: oral presentation, poster presentation (poster).
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Conference participants are required to:
1) register and attach your report or proceedings on the conference website http://conference.tsu.ru/science_philology before March 10, 2014;
2) pay the registration fee not later than March 25, 2014. The receipt for the registration fee will be sent in the second newsletter after successful registration.
Participation in the Conference will confirmed by certificates of National Research Tomsk State University, the authors of the best papers and section winners will be awarded diplomas that enhance the competitiveness of scholarships, awards and grants applicants.
Travel and accommodation expenses as well as meals are the responsibility of a sending organization or a participating individual.
PUBLICATION REQUIREMENTS
The publication of conference proceedings is planned after the conference. To be included in publication of materials conference participants are required to:
1) attach to the registration form report in the format doc, docx, rtf, written in accordance with the rules;
2) download to the registration form a scanned copy of the report with signatures of scientific director or head of the department.
Number of pages in publication: for students - 3 pages, for postgraduate students and young scientists - up to 5 pages. We strongly recommend you to withstand the volume.
Important! Articles designed not to the rules or not certified by the supervisor or head of the department signature will not be published! Materials will be previewed and selected by an expert committee. After receiving the materials the committee will notify the participants about being selected/not selected via e-mail indicated in the registration form.

The registration fee for participation is 150 rubles.
The conference fee which covers conference participation and publication costs (one hard copy of articles collection) is 300 rubles for students and school students from Russia and CIS countries, 150 rubles for TSU students.
Sending of the printed copy of the articles collection will cost 150 rubles within Russia and the CIS countries. International delivery is $ 30. A request for delivery should be agreed in advance.
Translation of annotations into English (if necessary) is 50 rubles ($1).
The receipt for registration fee money transfer will be sent to a participant only if the article is approved for publication.
